LOVE those photos and paintings - beautiful. I didn't know you had such art!! My boyfriend is an artist - he just graduated with his MFA and is now an adjunt professor of 3D Art and Sculpture I; though his dream is to be able to support himself full time as an artist (he mainly does painting and drawing, but can also do sculpture, ceramics, and tons of other things). I'm excited I know about this site so I can see your work - great stuff!!

Amanda,
Not only do I love seeing process shots of your work. I also really appreciated your reflections. They were something I needed to read, thank you for your thoughtful reflection.
May you find productivity in your work and peace in your soul.

Yay! Resin! Just be safe and make sure to stick your head out of the studio to get some fresh air :)
I've been painting like crazy, and have the first painting done - will try to post some pics, new entry tonight. I am about to begin stretching the silk for the second painting, I'm trying to plow through this second one, and then I'll feel pretty good about my progress/time-schedule. Wish me luck and see you Monday! I can't wait to see your resin-ed work - will you bring some to class, to show us this next stage?

Shalom! Say "hi" to Tom for us (me and Matt, I am not referring to myself in third person!) :)

Hey Amanda,
I just noticed your flickr site. Once I remember my passwork I'll add some comments there directly, but until then I love you work. Especially your instillation around water. It is breath-taking.
See you Monday.

Hi Amanda,

I really like your paintings and pictures. It is a brave thing to publish your journal in a public way. I look forward to reading more and responding when possible.
